WESTSIDE CIGARS ATL IS MOVING

After 2 successful years, Westside Cigars ATL is currently transitioning to a new location and has closed its location at the Lee + White development in Atlanta’s West End. The management company, Ackerman and Co. terminated their lease without explanation. The company representative stated, "They were moving in a different strategic direction", and gave the owners 30 days to vacate the property.

The popular lime-green shipping container shop became a popular destination for cigar smokers on the Westside and patrons on the Beltline. Many of the other tenants experienced an increase in food and beverage sales once the shop opened its doors in May of 2024 for the Atlanta Lantern Parade. Smokers and non-smokers enjoyed the energy and activity the shop brought to a normally inactive and dormant parking lot. From community karaoke, to watching sports, to live djs; the shop was the lifeblood of the container shops often forgotten by the management at Lee + White.

While they have confirmed they are attempting to stay nearby in the neighborhood, the exact address of their new home has not yet been finalized. Because their doors at the physical White Street location are officially closed, you should check their digital channels for the grand opening of their next storefront.
